After Migration Consulting

Migration comes with some stages like change of place of life, distance from friends and relatives, financial insecurity, change of job and so on which are fundamental factors for stress. Thus, migration involves a set of stressful actions and emotions and each of them can cause some mental disorders to appear. In most cases, migrants think that their current job and social and economic positions don’t fit their mental ideals and are willing to change their present environment. This lack of fitness between what we are and what we expect to be is a stressor. Consequently, migrants will have stress before migration. The extent of it depends on the severity of one’s dependency on different factors. The more emotional, financial, occupational and family dependencies a person has, the more stress they will endure.
